Cameron Crowe and Nancy Wilson provide an insightful, interesting, and entertaining commentary to this film that doesn't bore you as much as other directors often do. If you're a fan of Cameron Crowe movies, you most definitely won't be disappointed. If you're just a fan of Vanilla Sky in general, you'll enjoy hearing the director talk about different theories and thoughts behind the film.

This is one of those very decent commentaries that actually makes watching the film that much more enjoyable after listening.
Cameron points out many little details that i totally missed when watching the film. I wont go into them here as that would ruin the chat track. But give this one a chance. ...Recommended

A very enjoyable commentary. Cameron's love for his source material comes through and he relates a LOT of information about the film and it's genesis.

Unusually, half-way through the commentary he rings Tom Cruise and they have a little talk about the film, class! Also, Cameron's wife is in the back-ground. She doesn't say much of anything relating to the film and only plays a couple of tunes. Seemed strange to me.

Towards the end he discusses the different interpretations of the film and throughout he points out little things the viewer may have missed.

Well worth a listen.
