The perfect blend of technical trivia, production anecdotes, and wry humor. The co-directors, along with producer Hahn, deliver tons of information throughout the commentary. The tech talk never goes over the listener's head (heck, even I could understand the intricacies of the Wildebeest CG program), and the trio never let an opportunity for a joke (albeit of the corny variety) pass by. Much about the making of "The Lion King" has been highlighted since its' release, but this track manages to feel fresh and illuminating to the most learned leo lover. 9/10

The Lion King 2003 Special Edition DVD is one of my favourite DVD box sets ever, fitting since Lion King is one of my favourite movies ever.

I loved this commentary. Don Hahn and Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff talk about a lot of great stuff about the movie. It's never a dull moment. It really makes you feel like you were there with these guys making these awesome movies.

I could listen to Hahn in particular about him creating the entire movie if I could.
