First, the bad. There are a lot of silent spots of 2 or 3 minutes throughout this commentary where Singer doesn't say anything. After listening to this, I was left with the impression that he's only actually speaking for about half of the total running time.
However, what he does say is worthwhile and interesting, focusing mostly on additional stories and background about the people featured in the documentary, and stories about the making of the film. There's pretty much no overlap between what's covered in this commentary and what's in the excellent making of feature on this disc.
So, I'd recommend this one if you want to know more about the movie (and you've already watched the making of), as long as you don't mind lots of silent gaps.
