Joe Dante is one of my favourite director commentators (Terry Gilliam and John Carpenter also come to mind) because he's always easy-going and never short of interesting, anecdotal information. This commentary is arguably his best - he has something to say about every scene/setup and, along with producer Jon Davison (who shares his sense of humour) recalls just about every aspect of the production, pre- and post-. It's especially enoyable to hear them talk about overcoming the limitations of working with the notoriously cheap Roger Corman to deliver a movie that wouldn't look terrible. All of this is done with a self-deprecating sense of fun that makes this the quintessential Dante commentary for fans of the director, New World Pictures, or B-movies in general.

I'm a big Joe Dante fan but to be honest I found this one boring.
I wouldn't recommend this unless you are a big fan of the movie.
