Director James Foley provides an entertaining and engaging audio commentary. The folks at Artisan have wisely edited out all of the stretches of silence and only show the portions of the film that Foley actually talks over. He talks about how the actors worked for practically nothing and his respectful attitude towards the acting process.

I liked how upfront and honest Foley is about his film. He acknowledges how good the actors are, the writing, the cinematography, and how fine a job he personally did. Usually, I’d be off-out by such boasting, but Foley does it with taste. He’s never cocky, but more like an eager kid who’s a fan of the film.
This track does something that I’ve never seen. Instead of having large gaps of Foley not speaking, the track jumps back in forth in the movie, showing you the scenes that Foley happens to be discussing. It’s pretty amusing if you’re a fan of the film. But if you saw the movie once ten years ago, re-watch it first, then check out this track.
