Thoughtful, quiet commentary, beautifully delivered by the great Scott Hicks. He's really focused on the actors, the melancholic atmosphere of the picture, the cinematography and the characters. In short, a perfect commentary for those who are interested in filmmaking.

Hicks also talks a bit about the DP Piotr Sobocinski, who died of a heart attack a few months before the release of "Hearts in Atlantis".

All in all, a solid commentary. Highly recommended.
