This is ok, but does not add much when also listen to the superior dvd commentary. He says something about the motivation of the character, and then pauses to say more of the same. There are too many and regular moments of silence and he doesn't seem quite so enthusiastic as he usually does. He needs a sidekick on this one, and de Bont fills that job well on the dvd. 5/10

Agree with the above. A very (surpisingly) subdued Ver Hoeven here. I liked it when the director pointed out the "Dressed to Kill" sequence. There are some added bits, mainly concerning the shooting adjustments (lighting, locations, timing, etc.). The DVD track, however, is superior.

Interesting enough - Verhoeven is always a good listen - but in this case the DVD commentary is superior.
Still, it's a shame that this track has been relegated to the Laserdisc and never ported over to DVD / Blu Ray.
