This was the first time I've listened to an Andrew Davis commentary. I was a big fan of "The Fugitive" and enjoyed his other works as well. Don't let the description above deceive you, Arnold does NOT partake in this commentary. It's too bad, because I've found his presence very entertaining in the past. Especially on the 'Conan' and 'Total Recall' chats.
On to "Collateral." Director Davis does a complete job of discussing locations, editing choices, and pointing out stunts throughout the film. He gives some sufficient background about the actors on screen. It's a pretty dry, average commentary. With some silent moments scattered throughout. But, he did point out Jane Lynch. What? 'Sue Sylvester' herself?
SPOILER Alert!- She gets her neck snapped.
That's enough to bump a "4" commentary to 5/10
