Funny, relaxed commentary. An easy listen for sure. Brady is a smart, chatty guy who from the get-go successfuly sets up the tone of the entire track. He starts off strong by addressing in a humorous fashion both film critics and ordinary viewers.

He comes across as a nice, regular dude and best of all, he doesn't take himself or the movie that seriously. It's all made for fun and he's very much aware of that. A fact that makes this commentary a joy to listen to.

On several occasions Brady talks about how they shot a lot of scenes that didn't end up in the final version, because the intention during editing was to get as soon as possible to the "meat" (which is of course the star of the movie, Rob Schneider). Brady also admits that he's not very proud of the scene at the beginning of the movie where the overweight girl gets hit with the toilet seat (still, the scene was necessary and he explains why).

The casting process for the role that eventually went to Rachel McAdams was apparently a big deal, a lof of time went into it, and Brady talks about that as well. He also explains quite eloquently why he is, at the end of the day, proud of the movie.

Other interesting bits you can expect from the commentary:

- alternate scenes talk.
- Sandler talk (his involvment as a producer and performer).
- comic timing of the actors.
- real-life situations that have influenced some of the scenes in the movie.
- production/costume design talk.
- Brady’s working relationship with Schneider.
- stunt work.
- John Debney’s score.
- script development.

Yes, this is not a deep, Marty Scorsese/Oliver Stone-type commentary, but it’s one that would definitely entertain you. There’s very little dead air, by the way. So, if you are a fan of "The Hot Chick" definitely listen to that track. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
