This is yet another hysterical commentary from Kevin Smith, and with Ben Afleck you can just hear how well these two get on with each other. Afleck and Smith take funny snipes at each other and Smith vents his spleen at movie critics throughout the world.
People that have heard Kevin Smith tracks before wont be disapointed with this one.

Love this commentary, but why isn't the Jason Mewes commentary listed here? It's definetly on the Australian DVD. Just listened to it and it's as good as the Affleck track. Mewes has some very funny R rated stories to tell about girlfriends, losing virginity and masturbation.

Not surprisingly, this track is relaxed and conversational in tone as the two long-time friends joke and laugh with each other. Smith is always an entertaining speaker and addresses, at length, the bad press that he and the film received from the UK tabloids. This track is also refreshingly free of the usual self-congratulatory backslapping that often plagues commentaries.

This is extremely good stuff! The other reviewers have already explained why, but I have to mention Kevin Smith obsession with making a horror movie out of this same film footage, just adding a new soundtrack. The sound effect 'pooooooop!' is legendary stuff, and could actually work! I taught it to my 2-year old daughter and she's still using it.
Commentary 2:
Screenwriter/director Kevin Smith, producer Scott Mosier, and actor Jason Mewes

This is one of the best tracks I've ever listened to. Surely in the top 10. Mewes is sober, lucid and funny throughout. Smith and Mosier are informative and humorous as usual. This track offers a lot of really interesting information about Mewes' drug-addiction, the testing process the film went through (which ended in the removal and alteration of many scenes), the shoot and all manner of other things. Great track. I'd almost recommend buying the flick even if you didn't like it, just for the commentary.

if you want a commentary that focuses mainly on the film....then dont bother with this one, listen to the first track.
this one is hilarious....Mewes as always shines like a star and educates us on his drug history as well as having sex with water filled rubber gloves (which of course he never did but everyone else did)
as someone else said. this is one of the best commentaries ive listened to
