Those who enjoy Kaufman's movies or the BODY SNATCHERS remake should find what they're looking for in this track, because not only does the director cover the general business of making the movie but also picks up on the 'little moments' that fans of the film are no doubt curious about - the use of 'Amazing Grace', the Duvall/Siegel cameos, the casting of Nimoy, Goldblum, Adams. What's probably surprising is hearing him say how much he loves and wants to make Science Fiction films, this being his only foray into the genre (although he also talks about his involvement into the aborted Star Trek feature film debut).

Kaufman is a very good speaker. He talks about the limited budget, the script, the Don Siegel film, the music, the DP Chapman, the sound, the actors, the cameos, working on Star Trek, shooting in SF and the mood of the movie.

There are a lot of information about this great movie. Don’t miss this track. It is perfect. 10 out of 10.
