With no gaps and a fair amount of balance between the two speakers the conversation touches on adapting the book to modern times and focuses greatly on the development of Denzel Washington’s character. And that’s about it. I blame it on the movie itself, being a thriller that moves between dream, reality, paranoia and brainwashing – the conversation doesn’t go anywhere. I’m sure other Demme commentaries are great but not this one. Skip it.
