This commentary is only slighter duller than the film itself. It is hardly ever scene specific and there are pauses. Commented on are the source material and differences in the film, casting and performance, the screenwriter/producer/director, photography and camerawork, editing, score, wardrobe, the context of the film at the time, its box office results and awards, reviews, and other films about mental illness.

The most interesting comments are regarding the possiblilty of Judy Garland playing the lead role/s although it's hard to imagine her in it, scenes that were cut from the screenplay because of production code limitations, and how the far more entertaining multiple personality independent title Lizzie was released earlier the same year and was considered to have cost this film some of its appeal.
