You might be familiar with Ottman's work as a composer and film editor for Brian Singer. His directing acumen is debatable, but this commentary is very fun and absorbing. John has a fondness for the slasher genre, and the movie's "film school" setting is ripe for good commentary. Fair amount of location information, as well as some references to "Alien," (The perferct Horror film, in John's Opinion) and some shots at "Scream 2 & 3." Plenty of stories about working with young actors for the first time, the improv talents of Anthony Anderson, and the nuances of scoring a film subtly, only to have the theatres set the volume at "Low." A Commentary much better than the previous 5/10 rating. Closer to 7 and a half.
