Insightful commentary recorded in 1995. For those who enjoyed these historians on the 97' edition, the Criterion collection of 'A night to Remeber' is well worth the listen. They compare the film's portrayal of the events to actual accounts. Wonderful insights on how survivors, as well as their families reacted to this film, are also provided. Great stories about Walter Lord, the gentleman whose book inspired the movie, why the 'California' was given a bad rap, and much more. You can feel the disappointment in their voices when talking about the original sets being destroyed. How they wished to have walked those decks. Only a few years later would they be able to immerse themselves in James Cameron's massive recreation.
