William Gates and Arthur Agee give a warm and wonderful commentary to this important documentary. Both clearly have enjoyed a certain amount of fame thanks to this movie, but both discuss the limits of that fame (especially financially). Mr. Gates is the more measured of the two, touching on the themes of the movie, as well as being more affected by the action on the screen. Mr. Agee provides a lighter touch, as well as some insight into the scenes. There is plenty of laughter as well as wistfulness on this track, and for me it makes it one of the best commentaries that I have heard.
Commentary 2:
Director Steve James and filmmakers Peter Gilbert and Frederick Marx
