Director Scott is actually joined by his cinematographer Tom Callaway, and his leading man, Bokeem Woodbine. What follows is a very cordial chat between the three fellas, with most of the information dispensed by Darin Scott. "Caught Up" was his love letter to "film noir," and the references to classic films from that genre come at a breakneck pace. You may need a pen and paper to keep track of all the shots Scott paid "homage" to; it's a very fun guide for those fans of "Out of the Past," "Gun Crazy," and other "Noir" flicks. For a young actor, Bokeem is eloquent about his process, and does a fair job putting the listener into his shoes. He relates his own experiences with psychics and what motivated his performance choices. If you enjoyed Scott's collaborative commentary with Jeff Burr on "Stepfather II," this track offers more of the same: laughs and insight. 8/10
