Director Jean-Francois Richet is quite hard work to listen to. But thats a french accent for you. . .
Screenwriter James DeMonaco fills us in on some of the details of his screenplay and the changes made to characters from script to screen.
and producer Jeffrey Silver handles a lot of the "technical" details of the shoot, where things were shot, how long they took and any film altering process that went on. All in all he analyses each shot and takes us through it scene by scene (which is the type of commentary that usually bores me)
All in all this was a disapointing commentary because i loved the original film so much. I lost count of the amount of times that the word "homage" was used.
At least they were all recorded together though...so this commentary i would say is "average" not the best ive heard, not the worst.........

I agree with the previous reviewer, every commentator fills his designed role and there are no surprises. One positive aspect is that they are all recorded together which, in their best instances, results in some discussions and elaborations about character development and such.
Props also goes to their enthusiasm about the project, listening to them talk about it makes me want to watch the film they envision, 'cause it sure aint what I saw on screen.
