Trash as trash can, that's my comment on the film itself. [http://imdb.com/title/tt0093800/]
Never had more fun with a next-to-no-budget movie and it's an intelligent one as well. Dump those Troma no-brainers and watch 'elaborated trash' instead ;o)
The commentary is spoken by the director Gorman Bechard and co-writer / main actor Carmine Capobianco. Constantly talking, you get a well-done mixture of information, fun and some 'former time' recollections. The film appeared in 1987, but it was shot in 1985 so this year we can celebrate its 20th anniversary. And this is a hell of a birthday present. Contains movie, commentary, complete rough-cut (!) and a short film. The commentary gives a lot of information on the shooting (technical & historical), the actors, the circumstances the film was produced in, relationship to Charlie Band and so forth. All questions you coud have had concerning that movie when you saw it on one of those rare VHS tapes are being answered and that's what a commentary should deliver. Great fun.
