For a movie with a running time well over 2 hours, I did not expect this trio to cover so many bases throughout the track. What a pleasant surprise then, that the husband and wife team of Nancy Meyers & Charles Shyer contribute a complete detail of re-making "The Parent Trap." Dean Cundey, veteran of many effects-heavy films, describes the challenges of motion-control filming, and how many real locations were utilized to present a more "romantic" lighting style. Meyers and Shyer point out the numerous references to the original 'Trap,' and have anecdotes about all of the cast members. As expected, the majority concern Lindsay Lohan (an 11-year old acting dynamo), but there are some fun memories about the supporting players as well. Apparently, Dennis Quaid is a good sport when it comes to soaking his Armani suit. Virtually no "dead-air" in this commentary, and it serves as a nice account to compare with the original "Disney" classic. 8/10
