Solo commentaries can be brutal, but Franklin has lots to say on multiple aspects of the film. Particularly interesting are his comments on Billy Bob Thornton, who wrote the script then starred in it. Franklin was very complimentary, and this was before B.B. was anybody.

Agree with the above. Fantastic track, delivered by the smooth Mr. Carl Franklin. Like his "Devil in a Blue Dress" commentary. Informative, engaging, and Franklin picks the perfect spots to deliver his comments. Accompanies the visuals like a nice wine for dinner. Loved hearing about Billy Bob and Bill Paxton, especially how he was able to reel in the force of nature that Paxton can become on set. Highly recommended listen. 8/10
