This is one of the most excessively modest commentaries I've ever listened to. Bigelow and Cronenweth spend the entire time talking about how they were "so fortunate" to work with this person and that. This reaches its height when Bigelow starts singing the praises of the man sitting right next to her. Come on, you made a good movie - give yourselves a little credit!
Strangely, the commentary is not scene-specific, even though it was clearly recorded for the DVD, since their discussion lasts exactly the length of the movie. It was not as informative as it could have been either. 5/10

I was very tempted to stop listening to this commentary as i found it very disjointed at first....I kept on at it though and eventually did get used the very low tones of the two talkers. . Its not the most rivetting of commentaries but id still rather have a chat track than not have one.

As a previous reviewer stated we do get a lot of 'we were very lucky and very fortunate' type comments from this audio track.
There are some interesting bits of information regarding the set up of the cameras and the problems of shooting a submarine film though.

Ill agree with the other review here and give it 5 out of 10. Im very fortunate to have listened to this track
