Donaldson and Washington have worked together multiple times, so they're pretty relaxed in each other's company, and that makes this commentary an easy listen.
However, this track will probably please only those who are interested mainly in the technical side of things. Donaldson and Washington spend most of the time talking about the accuracy of "Dante's Peak", real life volcanoes, the production design, sets, locations and last but not least the visual and practical effects.
They do talk about the actors and praise them for their work under difficult circumstances, but again, the majority of the commentary is technical talk.
To me, the track was quite interesting and it made me appreciate the movie even more. I like the more technical commentaries, so yes, I would definitely recommend this one to those who feel the same way.
