Sidney is only rarely scene-specific and pauses. Otherwise he comments on the origin of the material, casting and performance, working in the studio system specifically at MGM, locations/sets, costumes, and a cut scene. He also talks about his life since retiring from directing and tends to ramble. His most interesting notes are on Judy Garland, and he tells the occasional funny anecdote. However this isn't a commentary one is likely to listen to more than once.
