As usual, an informative and entertaining track from Joe Dante and Company that warrants multiple listens. After exiting a failed sequel attempt of "Jaws 3 People 0," Joe tells the story of how he arrived to the "Howling." There are great details about working with John Carradine, Slim Pickins, and Star Dee Wallace. She confirms her "Methody" acting-style in which her character appeared to be in a "trance" for many key scenes. It's also quite pleasant to hear her co-star (and late husband) Christopher Stone among the group. The most charismatic voice in the room is again Robert Picardo. He provides laughs and describes the process of auditioning for and becoming the werewolf (via arduous hours in the makeup chair). The story of Rob Bottin's emergence as a premier makeup and effects man following Rick Baker's departure is also discussed, as in the "making-of" doc on the disc. Great Commentary. 9/10
