Disappointing. Friedkin states the obvious in regards to plot or what should be obvious in defining film noir, the blacklist, and the production code limitations. He doesn't comment on noteworthy effects, and seems to be preoccupied with the lighting. The few excerpts from an interview with Fleischer are forgettable and non-specific to the film.
