Ridley Scott is always good on commentaries, and this is no exception. He goes into all aspects of moviemaking, mostly specifically about this movie, but also the general way one should be making movies (or how he does it). Whenever I hear him talk I get the impression he is on those guys who always comes prepared, and who knows what heís doing. I feel like I can go and make a movie after listening to him.

Script script scipt, storyboard everything, cast well, donít waste your money, and make choices, know what you want.

Shame this commentary isnít on dvd, itís better than the movie, and I actually like this movie. 8/10

Just got through with it. Another great addition to the commentary body of work from Rid. If you look in the right places you'll find it online, it's been recently ripped. Ridley tackles everything as usual, operating, casting, locations, story, and analysis on scenes and subtext, stories behind filming the film. Very good stuff. I'll be making a condensed version of the best bits soon to be uploaded on my YT channel - filmschoolcomments - so you'll be able to hear it there.
