This is not a traditional commentary. He starts off saying that he doesn’t like commentaries and the fact that you have to watch the whole movie again. So this is just an hour of a perfectly good audio commentary but with only a few stills from the movie showing. Initially I was sceptical, but it seemed to work for him very well. Instead of someone saying; ”this scene was originally longer”, which happens all the time and is completely uniteresting, he talks more general about the movie, how it was to cast and what he likes about them etc. He seems very smart and in control, and I have no doubt the movie is how he wanted it to be, just a shame that the result (the movie) is not that great. But a very good commentary. 8/10

This is a monolog from Baumbach to stills of the movie. It runs 55 minutes.
The track has a clear structure. There are separate chapters on the track. It is not very technical. He talks about the script, the casting, his own experience with the divorce of his parents, the small budget, the acting and the locations. The title of the movie and the Rodger Waters’s song Hey You are also mentioned.
Very good track without any gaps. 9 out of 10.
