This is an excellent track. Any fan of "Horror anthologies" should really give it a listen. John Harrison has a long history with Romero (they go back to the early days in Pittsburgh and John frequently collaborated and scored George A's films). That must explain why this is the most engaged I've heard the legendary director be on a commentary track (save for the "Dead" entries). Director Harrison has vivid recall of working with such actors as Steve Buscemi, Cristian Slater, and Julianne Moore. Many of which found 'Darkside' to be their early entry into filmmaking. The duo on this track discuss the genre of Anthology in great detail. How to structure a good "wraparound" story, to utilizing music and photography to give each segment its' own mood. Harrison wanted to give each entry a different feel, as opposed to the "comic book" atmosphere that ran through "Creepshow." These guys came across as old friends, and topics can vary from Stephen King to "Blair Witch," (the track was recorded around 2000, so, lots of airtime about the miracle that are these newfangled DVDs). There are some great "tales" throughout. 9/10
