This commentary focuses on writing and pre-production of the movie. All 4 people here are having a good time and joke around with each other(mainly making fun of Eli Roth). Great commentary, with tons of info on making the movie. Highly recommended.

I moved straight onto this commentary as soon as i had finished the solo effort. This is a great chat track with the exec producers all in the same room all having a great time discussing the film in general

HILARIOUS! Their banter is very similar to the Evil Dead 2 track. Which is funny because Scott co-wrote Evil Dead 2. Scott is funny in this track. Watching this track once is not good enough.

Defiantly the best of the four.
Commentary 2: Director Eli Roth, actors Barbara Nedeljakova and Eythor Gudjonsson, editor George Folsey Jr. and film reviewer Harry Knowles Rating:5.9/10 (8 votes) [graph]Login to vote or review

Eli Roth interviews each of the people for a certin time of the movie.

George Folsey Jr. - is interviewed for the first 33 minutes of the movie. Eli ask George about his experince working on the movie and his career. Very informalive, hands down the best part of the commentary.

Harry Knowles - is interviewed for the next 19 minutes of the movie. This is the worst part of the commentary. All they talk about is if they believe places like the torture rooms are real and how dangerous/sick it would be to pay to torture someone. It gets very pointless fast.

Barbara Nedeljakova - is interviewed for the 19 minutes after that. She talks about working on the movie, having to act in english (which she says she only been speaking for 2 years as of this commentary), and what life is live living where ever she is form. This part is pretty good.

Eythor Gudjonsson - is interviewed for the last 14 minutes of the movie. They talk about how they meet, how life how been like after doing the movie. This part isn't that great and is boring.

Over all an okay commentary. If you listen to this commentary, listen to the first 30 minutes and then fast forward to the part with Barbara and stop after that.

Really dull. The only good bit is when he interviews Barbara.

Eli just repeats the same info from his solo commentary. Avoid.

This is just like his commentary for Cabin Fever. Lots of info, very in depth. Recommended.

Fantastic contiuation of the Eli Roth chack trac from Cabin Fever (he even says that) He tells us whats been happening to him between Cabin Fever and the success of that film and the genesis of Hostel.

highly highly recommended
