The Commentary for "Big Bad Mama II" has Wynorski flying solo, as apparently, co-lead Jeff Yagher had just become the proud papa of twins, and was otherwise pre-occupied. But fear not, "sports fans." Jim doesn't let a moment pass without some fun stories from the brief 16 day shoot. Wynorski has fond memories of working with Angie Dickinson and Robert Culp. Angie declined any nudity, so some nifty editing of the original 'mama' and an appearance of buxom, Wynorski regular Monique Gabrielle helped "smooth" out the necessary sex scenes. Pulling off an action flick, set in the Great Depression era, was no small feat. Jim recounts the use of tight shooting (to hide obvious anachronisms like light poles) and the very unreliable mechanics of "vintage autos" (which routinely broke down), and highlights some of the more rustic locales outside of Valencia, CA. Wynorski listeners know that he never takes himself too seriously, so when the cheap sets literally quake at the slightest push, or his fledgling "Playmate-of-the-Year" gives herself a concussion, Jim is the first to direct your attention to the (in)action. Fun commentary, with the usual mix of "riffing" and insight. Wynorski (in)famously "pops tops;" He also is a really entertaining commentator. 8/10
