Strong, pretty detailed commentary that really reflects the overall atmosphere/vibe of the movie. Needs to be said that the guys are not in the same room and their comments are edited together. Still, that doesn't make the commentary less informative or less interesting.

As a director Boaz Yakin is (as expected) focused mainly on the filming of the picture, the scenes that didn't make the cut, the actors (particularly Denzel Washington and his speeches), and of course the football sequences. He is actually a very eloquent speaker and he has a lot to say.

Bruckheimer (in his limited time) adds more details and shares his experiences during and after showing the movie to selected audiences throughout the country, and the positive reactions across the board ("Women who hate football love this movie"). On the other hand, Howard talks mainly about the real-life characters and situations that inspired the picture.

Casting, locations, characters, intentions from a filmmaking point of view, music, themes - it's all adressed.

Edited together, Yakin, Bruckheimer and Howard deliver all the info you need.
