This track war recorded in 2004. Neame was at the time over 90 years old. But he is a brilliant speaker. His main points are the actors and the technical challenges of the shoot. Other points are the script, the pacing, the DP, directing, the stunts, the sets, working with a not so easy producer and disaster movies. His Britishness is also a point.
He shares a lot of memories. Not many people had faith in that movie and the budget was tight. At some points the remake is mentioned. Neame is very proud of this movie.
There are only some small gaps. This track is great. 9 out of 10.
Commentary 2:

Stella rules the day in this talkfest with the girls, (she reveals
she studied to be a director and attended without question all the dallies) when the two others, Carol Lynley and Pamela Sue faltered,
Stella comes up and keeps the party going, with info and quips.
Pamela remarks, Gene Hackman was very helpful, and Stella quips,
"I bet he was>" and the girls laugh. This is a good addition to
the Director's commentary, and makes you realize the terrible filming
conditions they went thru. Try it you'll like it.
