Hooper is joined by his fellow producer and editor for this group commentary on "Mortuary." Sadly, the number of participants doesn't make for a very rich commentary. Details about how the project came together are sorely lacking. Tobe certainly benefits from having others participate in his commentary tracks, and good moderators like Michael Felsher help to draw production anecdotes and technical detail. His fellow participants tend to sit back and let the on-screen action unfold, with the occasional cornball quip. Although the dialogue picks up after roughly 30 minutes, it's hard to recommend the commentary. I would have loved to learn how the filmmakers were able to film in California, given the low budget, and more about some of the SFX. There are some nice stories about Denise Crosby, the torrential downpours that threatened their shooting location, and even references to Hoopers' recent "Masters of Horror" episode. (Obviously placing this recording around 2004 or 2005) A Medicore track to accompany a pretty mediocre Horror entry. 5/10
