Lyne is scene-specific, has pauses, and repeats some info from his commentary on Fatal Attraction eg his use of dogs, incorporating humor in sex scenes, though the latter is excepted here where there is none in the money sex scene. He comments on locations/set, casting especially in relation to Redford and how he was fascinated by him, ponders the use of narration, costumes, FX, camerawork and photography, score and source music, a cut scene, what he sees as the film's weaknesses, and the film's reception. His most interesting points are the realism of having Demi Moore on the toilet in one scene, stories about Las Vegas gamblers, defending the casting of Redford, the male and female view of the proposal which Lyne thinks is what made the film so popular, and he is funny when he tells how he asked Moore what it was like to kiss Redford.
