Coogan: Comic genius? Or annoying git? He's definitely the former. A lot of times he can be the latter. His turn as Tony Wilson in this film is terrific, and he absolutely dominates this commentary track. Andrew Eaton barely gets a word in, but when he does, it's worthwhile. Not quite as good as Tony's track, but still a good listen, and despite being a bit of a smug git at times, Coogan is good for a laugh.

Listened to this the night of Tony's death. The track is easily one of the most interesting and informative I've ever heard. He points out errors that were left in despite his protestations, and fills in some interesting background on various parts of the story. (Including an hilarious story about Shaun Ryder turning up late for a gig.) Would easily rank it in my personal top 10 commentaries. If you've not listened to this track, you're missing out.
