On this first commentary the director and his leading lady are reunited for the first time since making the film and, with occasional prodding from moderator Marcus Hearn, they talk amiably about the making of the film and their careers before and since.
Roy Ward Baker seems to have only positive memories of making the film and enjoyed working with everyone involved (apart from a dig at the producers for changing the title just prior to release), making his contribution a little bland. But no such criticism can be levelled at Stephanie Beacham whose general enthusiasm lifts proceedings, and she proves as easy on the ear as she is on the eye - it's also refreshing to learn that, unlike some of her contemporaries, she's as proud of her involvement in British horror films as any of her other work.
