A lot of back-patting, and a lot of laughing from JB Smoove (he's part of the commentary as well). In short, nothing groundbreaking here, but it's definitely a serviceable track that would satisfy those who enjoyed the movie and those who like today's American comedy scene.
The Chris Rock fans will probably be little disappointed that Smoove steals some of the spotlight here (in terms of talking), but fear not - when Rock speaks he is informative and funny, though not as energetic as one would expect. Yes, there are moments when they just talk randomly about the scenes without really focusing on the creative side of things, but it's still a fun listen. They do, however, talk about the plot, the many on-set improvisations and all the different shooting locations in NY.
In the end I'll say this: I wouldn't call this a must-listen commentary, but if you enjoyed the movie check it out. It's a nice addition.
