The Lord of the rings trilogy is what initially started me listening to commentary a few years back and so it's what I tend to compare other commemtaries to.
Peter and Phillipa are pleasant and interesting to listen to in general so that's a big plus. They always do a good job giving inside information about the films. Peter comes across as down to earth and doesn't seem to mind sharing his secret and not so secret blunders and regrets. He talks mainly about locations, special effects, set builds, development which keeps it all interesting. Not much technical otherwise. Phillipa tends to tell stories about filming and cast or gets Peter to.
If you like the films, it's a great inside look.
