This is an informative track filled with details about the locations, how shots were conceived, and anecdotes about the shoot. Gilligan drives the conversation, and tries to involve everyone. Cranston directed this episode and offers insights about balancing his duties as director and actor. Gunn was not pregnant during the season but Brandt was, and they hid her pregnancy with wardrobe and props. A nude belly shot of Gunn in this episode is actually Brandt. They filmed near the airport in Alburquerque which presented some challenges for the airplanes landing. The house where Jesse lived could not be used all season because it was sold by the owner.
Commentary 2: "Better Call Saul" -- Creator/executive producer Vince Gilligan, writer Peter Gould, director of photography Michael Slovis, and actors Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul Rating:8.0/10 (1 vote) [graph]Login to vote or review

Excellent commentary, everyone is engaging and interesting and there is a lot of surprising and grateful information - I had no idea Vince Gilligan and Dean Norris both worked on the underrated Wilder Napalm for example. Plus I loved that it seemed to me that Gilligan was playing a little dumb to coax info and anecdotes out of his fellow commentators. 8/10

Another fine track, which delves into many of the technical and creative aspects of the show, to include locations, sets, lighting, and shooting techniques. They speak to an extent about the Albuquerque shooting experience, to include the challenges of filming in church parking lots. Slovis was reluctant about working on the show because he had been away from home often but his wife was a big fan and convinced him to take on the project.
Commentary 3: "4 Days Out" -- Creator/executive producer Vince Gilligan, director/executive producer Michelle MacLaren, director of photography Michael Slovis, and actors Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul Rating: no votes yetLogin to vote or review

Again, also excellent. It impresses me how much Gilligan relies on and appreciates his cast and crew. Most showrunners come across as egotistical maniacs but not him. 8/10

This track has a very welcome technical bent with Slovis (who also joins) talking about the lighting, film stock, and composition of certain scenes, Gilligan and MacLaren reveal their X-Files working history.
Commentary 4: "ABQ" -- Creator/writer/executive producer Vince Gilligan, and actors Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn, Aaron Paul, Betsy Brandt, RJ Mitte, and John de Lancie Rating: no votes yetLogin to vote or review

A good track to close out the second season. They delve into some of the more emotional scenes and the intensity of these. The show does not rely on product placement even though some think it does. They speak to the color palette and art design. Some scenes were a bit complex due to the continuity and choreography involved. They strive for medical accuracy when writing and depicting such events. They have some anecdotes for sets and locations.
