Granik and McDonough are a good team. They have a longtime working relationship. They talk about the shooting of an independent film. The supportive local people, the locations and the landscape are also big topics. The work with the actors and non-actors is also mentioned.
McDonough talks a lot about the lighting, the use of daylight and day for night shoots. They talk also about the reaction from the audiences.
There are no gaps. This commentary is very good. 9 out of 10.
