This is an odd one. It comes off as a mixture of different "types" of commentary track - a critical analysis, a biographical/historical summary, a scene-by-scene narration. The first two deliver some useful stuff, but the last one falls into the old trap of "describe everything that's happening on the screen". While this approach is the bane of many a DVD commentary, this one is taken to extremes, with not someone simply winging it and telling us what they're looking at, but instead with a carefully prepared script to tell us what they're looking at - it almost sounds like Rostock is reading bits from a novelisation of the film. Overall I don't know whether this is a bad commentary with good bits or a good commentary with bad bits.
