Obviously with the troubled production history and the beating the film took upon release there is a lot of stuff for Lehmann to discuss. He doesn't get into details about a lot of the rumors that hit the press about the films production, but he does acknowledge a number of them. He also likes to point out how well the film did in France (heh). It is an amusing listen for fans of the film or even for those who disliked it but are curious to learn more about the backstory.

This has to be one of the very early DVD commentaries produced, especially by a major studio. I don't believe I ever listened to it back in the day but heard it was very good and always wanted to listen to it and it is an excellent track. Despite its age it's another one of those terrific film in a box tracks. Lehmann has a great sense of humour about the film and is humble about it's failure but for the fans of the film (and I know you are out there) he clearly loves the film and the fans will love the track. 8/10
