Commentary 1: "Helpless" -- Writer David Fury Rating:6.1/10 (8 votes) [graph]Login to vote or review

This the best commentary on this set. David Fury tells us the whole story on how this episode came to be. From his original idea for the episode, how Joss Whedon and David Greenwalt chanced it to what it is, what it is like working on a Joss Whedon show, how he got his job on the show, and how the episode was written.
Highly recommeneded.

This is an o.k. commentary. Not very good but not really bad either. Doug doesn't talk about the writing of this episode. He mainly talks about what it is like working on one of his favorite show ,and working with Joss Whedon ,and how he got the job his on Buffy ,and his thoughts of the show before he was a writer for it.

Commentary 3: "Consequences" -- Director Michael Gershman Rating:4.5/10 (8 votes) [graph]Login to vote or review

He talks about what it is like to direct an episode. He also talks too much about how everybody was great to work. And in the middle of the commentary he starts oddly talking about how young, small, and good-looking Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Dushku are. Which would be fine thing to say...if he don't sound like a madman when he said it. Sadly he come across as being cocky and praises himself as much, if not more than he does the cast. Don't waste your time.
Commentary 4: "Earshot" -- Writer Jane Espenson Rating:6.3/10 (9 votes) [graph]Login to vote or review

Espenson like Fury and Petrie tell us how she got her job on Buffy and how it is having Joss Whedon for a boss. I don't like this commentary because most of it is her pointing out scene she likes. But she does points out little things in the episode you normally wouldn't notice. She also talk about why "Earshot" was aired after the rest of the season had already aired. It's an o.k. commentary.
