a not very engaging commentary, it seems to be two different tracks edited together but none of the speakers are especially riveting to listen to and for the most part don't have very interesting things to reveal about the film. They mostly just butt in with very short comments about an actor or a scene, not much in the form of an actual discussion.
Interestingly, Hallström was concerned that the comedy was too broad and would take away from the honesty of the characters and the film is probably significantly toned down, comedy wise, as opposed to what it could've been. I for one would not have minded even more comedy in there, I think this is Hallströms best film, in large part because of the uncharacteristic humour it's imbued with.
Favourite bit: When they talk about the conditions from the elvis estate for using his lyrics and dancing in the movie.
