Listening to their playful banter, it's obvious that Segal and Sandler had a lot of fun on this film. Not exactly jampacked full of information, but still a fun listen, especially since, even though Nicholson couldn't be there, we still feel his presence in their conversation. One of the delights of listening to Sandler do a commentary is how he observes his character in third person and as the film nears its end, it's almost as if were all watching the film for the first time. Definitely worth a check out.

This is listenable although not to gain insight into the development, filming or anything else about the making of the movie. It's mildly entertaining to hear Segal and Sandler talk about some aspects of the film and their favorite scenes making some jokes along the way. A lot of times this involves pointless play by play commentary but most commentary prior to 2005 appears to be lacking in substance and is similar to this. Maybe it was a sort of learning curve.
