Harris is refreshingly humble about his first directing effort, acknowledging weaknesses. He is scene-specific and only occasionally pauses. He comments on the changed beginning of the film, score/source music, cut and reduced scenes, locations/sets, photography, casting and performance, historical accuracy and period detail, on-set incidents, production history, script, editing, costumes, and working with animals. Those with an interest in painting can appreciate his discussion of Pollock's development of style and the painting recreations.

This track is excellent. Harris talks a lot about the problems to finance the movie, the script, the actors, the location, deleted scenes, art and painting. The track is not very technical. You get a lot of additional information about the life of Pollock and Krasner.

The track is without any gaps. The movie was a labour of love for Harris. Don’t miss this commentary: 9 out of 10.
