This track was recorded back in 1999, so I can forgive this trio for the heavy amount of "dead air." Producer Cohn Curtis is a Hollywood Lifer, so there are some good stories about casting and specific locations used in filming "DreamScape." The co-writer offers a fair amount of humor and insight. I was surprised to hear that "DreamScape" was confused with the Walken movie "Brainstorm" rather than "Nightmare on Elm Street," given that 'Scape was released before 'Elm.' Coincidentally, the similarities in plot led to New Lines' introduction to Chuck Russell (who served as Co-writer and Producer). Not only was "Dreamscape" way ahead of such fare as "Inception," but it gave us "Nightmare on Elm Street 3." Sadly, the 3rd member of the trio offers very little information about the Speical effects utilized in "DreamScape." Overall, a good track for an underrated '80s gem. 7/10
