a film critic's commentary that has a lot to say about film noir and hints the viewer to certain film historical important sequences (like the famous bank robbery that was shot in one seven (or so) minute take out of a car). Only drawback: He reads a manuscript instead of talking freely, so it is sometimes a bit exhausting to listen. But certainly worth listening!

A little dry to listen to, but still definitely a very good commentary. It makes you appreciate the film even more, by pointing out all the things a good commentary should, including stories about why some scenes were done the way they were, influences the movie had and of course made on other films, behind the scenes stuff, and the history of the film.
