WORST COMMENTARY EVER! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

Pretty boring and pointless commentary. Quite a let down.

Perhaps I listened to a different commentary than the other reviewers^, but for a commentary lead by the FX supervisors, it was exactly what I expected.

Volker Engel (VFX Supervisor) and Karen Goulekas (Associate VFX Supervisor) do majority of the speaking and are joined about halfway through the movie by Patrick Tatapoulos (Creature Designer).

They're light-hearted enough to crack jokes and share stories about when they butted heads with the director or producer about certain issues. Karen in particular likes to point out how lines got stuck in her head and how she loves Jean Reno's accent. Although there is some dead air, they do a decent job of filling in the time by pointing out and describing the various methods used to achieve shots (CG, practical, scale puppet, miniature, guys-in-suits, etc.).

Overall, if you're a fan of the technical aspects and VFX, definitely worth a listen. If not, well then, yeah, skip it.
